Four steam source of pulsating vacuum sterilizer

Author: OSR & Vanessa 24 Jan. 2025 Category:  Sterilizer

Steam source, an important component of steam sterilizer

There are 4 types of steam sources:

The first type: ordinary industrial saturated steam supplied from outside, mainly for supplying steam to the jacket of the sterilizer, and used in conjunction with pure steam;

The second type: pure steam supplied from outside, mainly as a sterilization medium to supply steam to the sterilization chamber, and used in conjunction with industrial saturated steam;

The third type: steam supply by built-in steam generator, to solve the problem of users who do not have an external steam source.

The fourth type: steam supply by containerized steam generator, to solve the problem of users who do not have an external steam source and have requirements for steam quality.

The first type: ordinary industrial saturated steam

Ordinary industrial saturated steam is mainly used to supply steam to the jacket; this steam source can be used when there is no requirement for the cleanliness of the sterilized items, and steam can be supplied to the jacket and the inner chamber to meet the requirements of ordinary sterilization;

The second type: pure steam

When pure steam is sterilized, it needs to be used in conjunction with industrial steam to reduce energy waste; industrial steam enters the jacket, and pure steam enters the inner chamber, to meet the requirements of the cleanliness of the sterilized items.

The third type: self-generated steam by built-in steam generator

This method is to hang it at the bottom of the jacket of the sterilizer, and use the electric heating tube group to heat the water in the container to generate steam, supply steam to the jacket, and the steam entering the inner chamber is drawn out from the top of the jacket and enters the inner chamber. The water supply must meet the requirements of softened water to reduce the scale inside the steam generator. This steam supply method is suitable for pulsating vacuum sterilizers with a volume of less than 0.8 cubic meters.

The fourth type: self-generated steam by containerized steam generator

As a separate steam supply source, the steam generator will be placed on the top, side, and bottom of the sterilizer according to the size of the product. As an independent heating unit, the water in the container is heated by the electric heating tube group to generate steam, and steam is supplied to the jacket and the sterilization chamber respectively. The water source received is softened water and purified water; if the quality requirements for sterilization steam must meet the requirements of EN285, the conductivity of purified water must be less than 4.3um/cm. This steam supply method is suitable for pulsating vacuum sterilizers with a volume of less than 1.5 cubic meters.

When the water quality does not meet the requirements, OSR can provide users with water purification devices, which can connect the water source to the steam generator after treatment to improve the heating effect of the electric heating element.

When the volume of the pulsating vacuum sterilizer exceeds the specified volume without a steam source, an external electric heating boiler can be equipped to connect to the sterilizer. Carbon steel or stainless steel containers can be selected for the electric heating boiler according to needs to meet different sterilization requirements.

In the absence of a pure steam source, an external pure steam generator can be equipped to connect to the sterilizer.

OSR has a variety of ways to solve steam source supply, and different steam sources can be selected according to different needs.
